Sentiment Analysis of Indonesian Interest in Korean Food Based on Naïve Bayes Algorithm

Most Korean (South Korean) cultural products, such as drama films, songs, fashion,and food, are rising worldwide. The Wave or Hallyu phenomenon shows howKorean culture is accepted by people all over the world. Social media has piqued theinterest of Indonesians, particularly young people, in culture. phenomenoncreates new business, especially for food. Many Indonesians curious totry food after watching Dramas artists on social media. Thepurpose this study to explore Indonesians’ perspective throughsocial platforms Twitter and YouTube. This research measures sentimentanalysis from an Indonesian perspective. method uses Naive Bayes algorithmfor data classification. results show that generated positive andnegative interest Indonesia. It means opportunity start a businessin Indonesia widely open. As result, developing culinary business based thethriving may be good opportunity.
